SCHEDULE: CBA Spring Conference 2016 Schedule

EDUCATION:

This year education will be a three-tent event.

  1. BASIC - Forges fire up at 8 a.m.
  2. INTERMEDIATE - Forges fire up at 9 a.m.
  3. DEMONSTRATIONS - Check schedule for times.

Basic classes will be going on throughout the day. There will be a number of hands-on blacksmith classes running from 8a.m. to 5 p.m. Most of the classes will be taught on a coal forge. Check the schedule prior to the event for possible changes.

OPEN FORGE

Want to try some hammering on your own?
If you just want to get some forge time, then this
area is for you. The open forge area will have
a supply of iron and coal set aside for anyone
who wants to try their hand at hitting hot metal.

KIDS AREA

We will have a supervised area for small smiths
with light tools and low, small anvils.

PUBLIC AREA

A demonstration area near the entrance will give the
public an overview of how smiths work with hot iron
at the forge. It is not intended for training.
