John will present a wide-ranging survey of his design process and then focus on a particular project to illustrate the design of forged ironwork and along the way show the application of the skills gained doing level II of the CBA curriculum.
Have you found yourself wondering what you can do with the LII skills? Need some motivation to get started on the LII projects? Here’s your answer: John Barron did just that. He was asked to lead a workshop for the Weaverville Blacksmith shop and create a sign they could hang in their main entrance. The sign would be constructed using all the LII skills you work through to complete the CBA (now National) curriculum.
