The Spring Conference is the CBA’s largest annual gathering, featuring demonstrations, open forging, and much more.

Spring Conference is our largest annual event and travels throughout the state. On average, CBA Spring Conferences draw 400-500 people, include demonstrators from overseas, showcase renowned US smiths, host a gallery and include a Saturday night Banquet followed by an Auction. The Education Committee provides ongoing hands-on programs with multiple forging stations. California cities that have hosted CBA recently include; Ferndale, Petaluma and Vista.

The 2011 Spring Conference will be located in Vista, CA at the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum. Headed by Dave Vogel, the team in Vista always puts on an amazing event. The dates will be announced soon.

Thanks everyone for making Spring Conference 2010 Ferndale so memorable. Some of our best California smiths showed off their skills and the visiting Czech’s put on quite a show.
