KITCHEN UTENSIL/BBQ TOOLS WORKSHOP

Kitchen utensil/bbq tools (and maybe a little fire tools) clinic/workshop

DATE & TIME: Sat December 5 2015  8 am- till John throws us out/dark/5pm or so

COST: $30/per to participate/forge.  Limit 20 students, observers welcome - no charge

WHAT TO BRING:  Hammers/tongs/safety glasses/hearing protection. Ball pein hammer for dishing.

MATERIALS PROVIDED: Mild steel.  copper sheet for spoons/ladles. stainless sheet for spatulas.

Will be demonstrating and discussing basic utensil/tool design and forging.  other topics:  material choice (stainless/mild steel/copper/brass, etc.)

A little bio on me:  been smithing 20+ yrs.  owner/operator "Straight Line Forge", Davis Ca joined CBA board April of this year.
